Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer conveys team news before the crucial Arsenal showdown.

French attacker Anthony Martial has been injured and there were quite a few speculations about his availability. However, United manager has laid those rumors to rest. Anthony Martial won’t be a part of Red Devils squad tonight.

With Marcus Rashford also out due to injury, the home team is short on attackers.

Solskjaer told the United app, “I don’t think we’ll see Anthony before the international break.

Luke Shaw is improving so hopefully we’ll see him.

There might be one or two [back against Arsenal]. Paul [Pogba] was really struggling with his ankle as it was really swollen, so let’s see how that repairs.

He got 90 minutes [against Rochdale] but towards the end [of the game] it was sore again.

Phil [Jones] will be out until after the international break and you have to count these after every game but I think that’s it.”

With Pogba, Rashford and Martial injured, Red Devils look to be in trouble ahead of their match against their archrivals. However, they will be benefitted from Shaw’s return.

Ole has also admitted that his team attack lacks some elements.

Solskjaer said, “We need to score more, definitely. We’re working on improving the relationships, the patterns, the understanding.

”I think that we’ve done great defensively, but of course we’re not happy with the return going forward.”
