Manchester United enjoyed a great era of success under Sir Alex Ferguson, which elevated their status as the biggest football club in the world during the Scotsman’s tenure as their manager. The Red Devils are now the most successful team in English football with 20 League titles, 12 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, and 3 Champions League trophies.

United have dropped below their usual standards in recent times, mostly after the departure of Ferguson. They are no longer competing in the Champions League but are still one of the biggest clubs on this planet.

Ruben Amorim- Man Utd Manager

The club is now led by Rúben Amorim, who was hired in November 2024 and has a contract that runs through 2027. In addition to an incredible Manchester derby victory, his debut was filled with low spots, most notably when he called his team “probably the worst in the club’s history” following a disappointing loss to Brighton.

The 3-4-2-1 technique that Amorim is implementing places a lot of emphasis on mental dedication and intensity. He isn’t afraid to make cuts to the team; Marcus Rashford was notably left out to demonstrate his dedication and professionalism. There is cautious hope that his ideas might start to gain traction on the field now that he has completed the preseason.

United lost to Arsenal 1-0 at home in their Premier League debut. The club has lost all of its first games even with the addition of new attackers. Amorim’s tactical inflexibility and inability to maximize the squad’s potential are drawing increasing criticism. Everyone agrees that something has to alter, whether it be in personnel utilization, mental approach, or formation.
