Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has rubbished claims that he is looking to leave the club this summer. The Swede’s agent recently suggested that he was on the radar of Spanish giants Barcelona.
Lindelof, however, is happy to stay put and concentrate on his Man United career next season. The 24-year-old joined for a £30m fee from Benfica in 2017.
Speaking about his Manchester United future, Lindelof said,
“I’m very, very happy to be a Manchester United player.”
“I’m excited for new season to start. That’s my answer. I’m very happy here.”
The Red Devils are currently gearing up to face familiar opposition in Leeds United in their second game of the pre-season.
