He has been heavily linked with a move as Harry Maguire would potentially leave this summer.
He is under contract until the summer of 2025 and Ajax would be in a strong negotiation position to make an offer in the summer.
Timber said to Ajax Life: “Transfer? You never know what crosses your path. This summer I will look at my options and make a decision.
“I feel good at Ajax, that’s important for now. Last summer there was interest, but I chose to stay at Ajax.”
