Manchester United are planning interest in AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer.

The Red Devils saw the departure of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic on a free transfer. Manchester United will be in the market for a new midfielder this summer.

Manchester United have previously shown an interest in AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer. According to The Sun, new manager Erik ten Hag is also considering making a move for the Algerian midfielder.

Bennacer was a regular in the Milan side and played a pivotal role in helping them win the league last season.

Bennacer has one year left in his contract. Manchester United may be able to secure his signature at a bargain price.

Bennacer hasn’t signed a new deal with the Serie A side, so they may look to offload him this summer to avoid him leaving on a free transfer.
