What players do Manchester United need?

The motto of the club of Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson was to buy hard-working team players who would not lie down beaten on the pitch no matter the scoreline or the difference in technical quality.

This is what made his team special. And slowly, with dedication and hard work, these toiling players became superstars for there is no goal determination and effort cannot achieve.

The Gary Nevilles and the Roy Keanes are the prime examples of that. Sure they did get star players in the Eric Cantonas and the David Beckhams but the crust of the team was that superstar or not, you have to work and run harder than your opposition.

Taking a look at the current Manchester United squad, except maybe for Marcus Rashford and a handful of players, the team looks disjointed. The Pogbas and Sanchezes clearly want to dominate the club and that is not how United functions.

So who can possibly make this team better? Well if we look at it domestically, small club players like Daniel James and Ryan Fraser are good options while committed young players like Jonathan Tah would be a good addition to the club as well.

The midfield as unpopular as it may sound, can do better without the individuality of Paul Pogba.
