Manchester United are preparing a massive bid for yet another midfield superstar.
This time it is a £87 million bid for Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić. The Red Devils landed Bruno Fernandes in the summer for a fee of £68 million in January and his arrival has been greeted with instant success for the Old Trafford outfit.
Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United are trying to make a wholesome change to their style of football and hence are undergoing some wholesome changes.
They have already revamped their defence and it would seem that they are now trying to rework their midfield.
Paul Pogba, the current midfield star has not done anything to show his worth at the club and United now are confident that they can replace him with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Savic is one of the high profile midfielders in Europe right now and is being targeted by big clubs like Paris Saint Germain as well.
Savic however, has proven himself to be loyal to the club in Italy and it might be tough for the Red Devils to price him away.
If the plan does work for United, they will have a midfield of Pogba, Savic and McTominay. It will have flair and strength and can easily be expected to help the Red Devils to make the top 4 if not the top 2.
