Lazio’s Ivan Provedel is also on the radar of Manchester United.

Man United are considering signing a new goalkeeper to compete with Andre Onana for the new season. Onana moved to Man United from Inter last summer. He was part of Inter’s Champions League campaign in 2023.

The Cameroon international became a first-choice goalkeeper for Man United under Erik ten Hag. He replaced David de Gea after the Spaniard left the club after 12 years.

Onana has kept 12 clean sheets from 46 matches across all competitions, including eight shut-outs from 34 Premier League matches.

The 28-year-old conceded a late penalty against Burnley with a nonsensical challenge on Clarets striker Zeki Amdouni. With the draw against Burnley assured that Man United will not play Champions League next season.

Man United also picked Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce, but he has only made one competitive appearance for the club this season. He earned his senior debut against Newport County in the latter competition. His contract at Old Trafford runs until 2027 with the option of a further 12 months.

Lazio’s Ivan Provedel is also on the radar of Manchester United. The Red Devils could even make an approach for his services this summer.
