Bruno Fernandes is currently content with his situation at Old Trafford.

Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes gives an update on his decision over the future at Old Trafford. He has revealed that any decision over his future will be made after Euro 2024.

Man United had a tough season in 2023/24. They faced elimination from the group stage of the Champions League. They also lose the qualification from the top four.

Erik ten Hag’s men failed to defend their title in the EFL Cup but they secured a place in the FA Cup final. They have new owner right now and Jim Ratcliffe is expected to overhaul the squad in the summer.

A recent report added Man United’s new-look hierarchy are prepared to listen to offers for the majority of their squad. Man United will consider suitable proposals for Bruno Fernandes if they require. The 29-year-old midfielder is currently content with his situation at Old Trafford.

The Portugal international said to DAZNPortugal, “I’m not thinking about other things at the moment. Obviously, it doesn’t just depend on me, does it?

“A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time, you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel there’s that on both sides.”

Fernandes also added: “I’m not thinking too much about the future, not least because, obviously, this season hasn’t been at the level I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, so far. We could still end the season by winning the [FA] Cup. After that, we have a very important Euros coming up.

“So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros because nothing will be able to take my focus away from the FA Cup final and the Euros, as there’s nothing more important than that at the moment.”

Fernandes has enjoyed a productive season, scoring 15 goals and contributing 11 assists in 45 competitive matches.
