Bruno Fernandes wants Ronaldo to stay at Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old star expects Ronaldo to turn up at the pre-season training on Monday next week.

The Portuguese legend has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after United failed to qualify for Champions League.

His agent has reportedly held talks with Chelsea and Sporting Lisbon over a move this summer.

But the club reassures fans that the veteran forward won’t be sold this summer despite interest from other clubs.

“I spoke to him a few weeks ago – we’re both on vacation, no one bothers friends on vacation,” Fernandes told Portuguese outlet Record.

I hope to meet him on [July 4] to train there [at Manchester United], I’m not expecting more than that.

“There is nothing more than that, but each one takes care of their future. I don’t believe that the club is willing to lose a player of the value of Cristiano.”
