Manchester United are already injury plagued with forward Anthony Martial, midfielder Paul Pogba, defender Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly all out to various and some multiple injuries.
However, their main man in defence and one chance of earning some draw at Old Trafford this weekend De Gea has now been added to the list.
Manchester United take on Liverpool this weekend. The Reds who are the visitors to Old Trafford are in glorious form having won 8 of their 8 matches in the Premier League this season.
They take on United who have suffered and been well below par under Ole. However, the Red Devils know that the Liverpool match is the one fixture where form can take a backseat with old rivalries resuming.
Now with the injury to De Gea, the United faithful are scared of how many goals they will lose by. Here is what Spain coach Moreno had to say about the injury: He had pain in the abductor muscle but he received treatment at half-time and wanted to keep playing,’ Moreno said. ‘He gave us his word, but in the end he couldn’t continue.’
