In A Massive Boost Influential Midfielder Set To Return Against Chelsea

Ander Herrera could return against Chelsea on Sunday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted.

The Manchester United midfielder hasn’t featured since the 2-1 victory against Watford and has been recovering from a hamstring problem. His absence has been severely felt as United have lost their last seven out of the nine games.

There has also been uncertainty over his imminent United future as reports suggested the player has agreed on terms with Paris Saint Germain and is ready to end his association with the Red Devils.

However, Herrera played a crucial role in the 2-0 win over the Blues in the FA Cup netting the first goal and would be hoping to make this game memorable once again.

Solskjaer said, “[There are] three games left of the season and Ander has been training, he’s been enthusiastic.

“He’ll probably be involved. I think he’s fit enough to be involved on Sunday. I can’t guarantee it, because there’s still two days left, but he’s trained the last two days.”

Scott McTominay has emerged as a crucial player in recent past but the midfielder is facing a race against time to be match fit for this crucial game.
