Manchester United wants to make a move for wonderkid Leny Yoro.

The young defender has been on the radar for several European clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are desperately interested in signing a defender this summer as manager Erik ten Hag is keen to strengthen the defensive area.

The Dutch coach will be given the freedom to choose the players for his project and is currently looking for a few defensive reinforcements.

Lille defender Leny Yoro has emerged as one of the best young defenders in Ligue 1 and has already made 26 appearances for the French side this season.

The teenage sensation has been linked with big money this summer, with Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester United all vying for the young defender’s signature.

The 18-year-old defender has been lauded as the successor to Raphael Varane at Manchester United.

United have decided not to trigger Varane’s contract and will be allowed to leave on a free transfer.

Lille demanded €90 million for Leny Yoro but the asking price could be reduced to €60million as Yoro’s contract expires next summer.

Manchester United must move quickly to sign the talented youngster amid heavy interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
