Victor Lindelof has emerged as a shock transfer target for Lyon, according to reports.
The Swedish defender has been an important part of the Manchester United set up and the club hierarchy is pretty happy with his performance. Despite United’s recent debacles, Lindelof remains one of the most consistent performers.
The 24 year old arrived at the Old Trafford in 2017 from Benfica and didn’t have the desired start as he took some time to acclimatize with the English conditions. But once he got the momentum he hasn’t looked back since then.
United are destined to overhaul their defensive shape Solskjaer is planning to introduce a couple of new defenders. Despite the ongoing defensive display Lindelof is expected to be lined up in the heart of the backline with a new partner.
