Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Porto full-back Alex Telles this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shown eagerness to sign a new left-back this season and according to transfer expert Duncan Castles, United have been given the chance to sign the Brazilian left-back.

Alex Telles had an amazing season last year with Porto and contributed in 13 goals and 12 assists in 49 games and its no real surprise why he has been garnering attention from other top clubs.

Serge Reguilon has been heavily linked with the Red Devils this transfer window but according to reports, Real Madrid wants to add a buy-back clause in any deal for the 23-year-old.

Duncan Castles claims that Telles would ask for cheaper wages than Reguilon as Telles is four years older than the Spaniard.

“[United] have been looking for a left-sided, left-footed centre-back and a left-back, or a full-back of some type, preferably a left-footed left-back,” Castles said on the Transfer Window podcast.

“I can tell you that they’ve been offered the Porto left-back Alex Telles.

“Twenty-seven-year-old, relatively cheap wages, €2m gross but out of contract in June 2021.

“Porto, I’m told, want €25m for the player who has been offered to Paris Saint-Germain, that deal hasn’t been able to be concluded.
