Manchester United Top Scorer 2018/19

ESPN FC sources claim that Paul Pogba is willing to force a move out of Manchester United if the club refuses to sell him this summer.

Failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League has convinced the Frenchman about to take his talents elsewhere. His agent, Mino Raiola is expected to speak with the United ownership about letting his client leave for the highest bidder.

Reports have already linked Pogba with a move to Real Madrid and it seems more likely than ever. The midfielder’s contract is due to end in the summer of 2021 but the Red Devils have an option to extend it by one year.

He arrived on a club record fee of £100m but only after three years is ready to call it quits. The 2018/19 campaign has been truly woeful for the United faithful, watching their team collapse under two managers after getting a bit of hope at the break of the new year.

Ole Solskjaer is plotting a complete rebuild which is expected to take time and a lot of financial resources. Pogba, 27 is not interested in being part of another comeback process and is instead, eager to win silverware right now.

The Red Devils chairman, Ed Woodward still views him as a key piece in the club’s setup due to his flamboyant presence off the pitch. Pogba is a huge brand in world football and the club wants to profit off of his name.

His brother, Florentin Pogba has also told AS that “things will happen in the summer”.
