The English giants have under-performed and fell significantly short in their bid to win major honours this season, and that could in turn result in activity in the summer transfer market.

English transfer reports claim that they could now hold a serious advantage in the race to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.

The Frenchman has a €100m release clause, and it’s claimed that amid tension between Atletico and Barcelona, they’re more inclined to accept an offer from the Red Devils and push him towards Manchester if he can’t be convinced to stay.

Red Devils could still land silverware in the shape of the FA Cup, they finished 19 points adrift of Man City in the title race and crashed out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage.

Victor Lindelof set for Shock Loan Move to Wolves.

Manchester United’s defender Victor Lindelof could be sent out on loan at the start of next season in a loan move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Swedish centre-back has not had the greatest time at United after his move from Benfica last summer.

Red Devils Manager Jose Mourinho did start him in many of the league games, but it was mostly because others were injured and the player never really manged to convince the boss.

The English giants would want Lindelof to get as much experience in English football as possible, and a loan move to a team that will likely be battling to avoid relegation could suit both the parties.

Man Utd told to pay whopping £100m for 17-year-old wonderkid.

Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho still needs to find a long-term solution at left-back, but reports claim he’ll have to convince the club to spend big on one of their top targets.

Reportedly, Fulham young sensation Ryan Sessognon as emerged as their main target to resolve this issue. claim that they’ll have to splash out a staggering £100m for the talented teenager.

Luke Shaw has failed to convince the Old Trafford faithful yet again this season having been limited to just 18 appearances in all competitions.

Such issues forced Red Devils to ask Ashley Young  to continue playing out of his natural position with the likes of Matteo Darmian also failing to establish themselves in the side.

If Sessegnon’s £100m valuation remains to be seen this summer, but for all his talent and promise and longevity ahead, that is a lot of money to be spending on a left-back and with other areas to address this summer.

Marcus Rashford urged to leave Manchester United

The Forward has struggled for regular game time in recent weeks

Marcus Rashford burst on to the scene for Manchester United in 2016 as he marked his debut for the club by scoring two goals against Midtjylland in the second leg of the Europa League. He even scored two goals against Arsenal in his Premier League debut few days later.

Since then he has been ever present for the Premier League giants and has established himself as one of most talented youngsters in the world.

The 20 year old has featured in 102 of the club’s 117 competitive games, as both a starter and a substitute, more than any other Manchester United player under Jose Mourinho.

Despite remaining a key part of Mourinho’s plan at Old Trafford, the England International has struggled for regular game time in recent months. Since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez, Rashford has made United’s starting XI for a Premier League fixture on just three occasions, restricting him to only 408 minutes of top-flight action.

Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham has hailed Rashford as an unbelievable talent and urged him find somewhere where he could play more first team football.

A man who helped United to treble glory back in 1999 told Sky Sports: “I said at the start of the season about Marcus Rashford that he needs to play games.

“He needs to learn what he can get away with on a football pitch, what he can do, what he can’t do.

“You don’t learn that by watching other people play.

“I don’t care how good the players are, it’s all about experience, it’s about making mistakes along the way and coming up against these players week in, week out and knowing how to prepare to play next season and the season after that.

“But if you don’t get the experience, you don’t get the chance.

“All you do is sit and watch and you make mistakes later in life.

“He needs to learn now, he’s an unbelievable talent for me, and he needs to be playing in a first-team somewhere.”
