Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Wants To Stay At Manchester United Beyond This Season

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he wants to stay at Manchester United beyond this season.

The former United forward was appointed as the caretaker manager following the ouster of Jose Mourinho. The Norwegian was brought in a bid to oversee the current team and since then he has exceeded all the expectations with his exemplary management skills.

The 46 year old has led the Red Devils to four consecutive wins in his first four matches and thus he equalled Sir Matt Busby’s feat who also won his first four games while in charge of the club.

Talks regarding making his stay permanent at the club haven’t been heard so far as the club hierarchy is reviewing the current situation very closely. But the manager has expressed his desire to be at the Old Trafford for a bit long.

When being asked if he wants to return to Norway the manager replied, “Of course I won’t, I don’t want to.

“It’s such a great bunch of players, a fantastic atmosphere, but it’s the next game, it’s the next game, it’s the next game and I’m doing my job as long as I’m here.”

“That will be in the books, but it’s nothing that I’m thinking of. I’m just thinking about the next game because if you win four, you can win another four at this club. That’s the challenge and that’s the standard that we’re known for.

“The gaffer used to challenge us on them and of course when we’ve won four, you can go onto the next four and think about them.”
