Rio Ferdinand is backing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to win the European title.
Man United legend Rio Ferdinand believes that his former side can beat Unai Emery’s men by a two-goal margin.
Although Unai Emery has the experience of winning the competition three times in a row while in charge of Sevilla.
‘I think we win, I think they score but we’ve got too much firepower, we will hurt them. I think we win by two goals,’ Ferdinand told Vibe With FIVE.
‘[Eric] Bailly played [against Wolves on Sunday] with Tuanzebe, if you’re looking at them, the two players, Tuanzebe was probably the better centre-back, he made a couple of crucial blocks in the game,’ he added.
‘If it was an audition for the Europa League final, I think Axel probably plays.
‘Will he go with the experience of a Bailly? He’s played in Spain that’s a big part of it. He understands their game, that experience may be something that is telling when the manager makes his selection.
‘I think we beat them, it’s not a foregone conclusion, they’re a decent team.’
