Robin Van Persie Hailed Bruno Fernandes As A 'Joy To Watch'

Robin van Persie was very pleased with what he saw from Manchester United’s January signing, Bruno Fernandes against Club Brugge.

He has played in just three games for the Red Devils and Fernandes has already started to win over the fans.

After playing a major part in United’s 2-0 win over Chelsea, the Portuguese featured for around 10 minutes in United’s 1-1 Europa League draw on Thursday night.

“He was unbelievable,” Van Persie said while appearing as a pundit on BT Sport. “With top players, you can tell straight away that he has something to add. He’s silky on the ball, he has a pass, he has a nice cross and shot. So a joy to watch!”

Of course, Fernandes is the type of player that United have been crying out for ever since Paul Pogba went down to injury. He adds a certain level of creativity and flair to the Red Devils midfield that no one in the squad simply can.

Fernandes is also the type of player who promises goals in the long run. He is enthusiastic to get on the ball and works really hard to get into threatening positions. Almost all fans will agree that adding the 25-year-old into the mix has been a breath of fresh air for what has been a very poor season for United.
