Two Players Asked To Be Sold Off By Manchester United Fans For Outrageous Behaviour

Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero picked up a lot of slack for laughing on the Manchester United bench during the 2-1 defeat against Wolves on Tuesday night.

Now reports are claiming that the duo might just be shipped out of Old Trafford in the coming transfer window.

Ole Solskjaer’s men damaged their chances of making it into the top four of the Premier League by losing to the Wanderers. Now, the Red Devils are level with Tottenham Hotspur but are behind in the fifth spot because of goal difference.

Scott McTominay opened the scoring for United but the Wanderers equalized right before half time through Diogo Jota. It was a Chris Smalling’s own goal late into the game that allowed Nuno Espirito Santo’s men to run away with the three points at the Molineux.

While United were chasing the game, looking for a last gasp equalizer, Argentine duo, Rojo and Romero were noticed laughing and joking on the bench while the camera zoomed in on Solskjaer.

This caused outrage amongst the Red Devils fan base, sparking immediate trade rumours. Both players are understandably second string options in the current United side and are replaceable.

However, the question lies in whether it will be wise to focus on two players whose contracts are set to run till the summer of 2021 when there is an immediate need to sign quality talent.
