Manchester United accept defeat in pursuit of Erling Haaland

Haaland is closing in on agreeing to a deal with Man City for the upcoming summer transfer market.

According to a fresh report, Manchester United have accepted defeat in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with top European clubs including Manchester United. He is planning a move away from the German club. Big clubs are keen to take the signature of the Norwegian international.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that the Bundesliga striker is closing in on agreeing to a deal with Manchester City for the upcoming summer transfer market.

As per the reports to the Daily Star, Manchester United have now internally accepted defeat in their pursuit of Haaland, and instead, they are set to move on to other targets.

The Norway international has made 15 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, scoring 18 goals. He has netted 27 goals across all competitions.

Manchester United has to find other options now as they might lose Ronaldo if the club fails to finish in the top four.
