According to reports from the Mirror, Manchester United will have to pay £100 million to sign Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho. Te reports also states that United will have to finish in the top four of the Premier League to sign Sancho.

Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City’s youth team in 2017. So far, he has made 42 appearances for the BVB, scoring 9 goals and providing 17 assists.

This season, Sancho has been impressive for Dortmund, scoring 8 goals and providing 13 assists. Sancho is the joint highest assist provider in the Bundesliga this season so far.

Manchester United have been linked to Sancho for a while and they are eager to sign the winger in the summer.

A player like Sancho would surely want to have Champions League football. Hence, United qualifying for the Champions League next season will increase their chances of signing Sancho.

The Red Devils’ campaign has burst into life following the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Manchester United are currently 4th in the league table and are yet to lose a Premier League match under Solskjaer.

Given the way they are performing, Manchester United have a very strong chance of finishing the Premier League in the top four.
