Raphael Varane seems to be settled well for the most part.

The French international made a permanent move to Old Trafford after making a record 250 appearances for Real Madrid.

He has quickly established himself as a regular in the first-team squad and featured in almost every Man United game.

The 28-year old has played seven games for the Reds in this new campaign.

“I am very happy with this beginning of the adventure. The Premier League is a Championship renowned for its intensity,” Varane said.

“There is a different atmosphere, a different mentality in general in relation to football. It’s a different approach and a different experience for me.

“I enjoy playing, getting out of my comfort zone, looking for new benchmarks in relation to my teammates. It’s another way of defending, it’s super interesting for me.”

Varane joins Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial for the Nations League semi-final against Belgium on Thursday evening.
