Manchester United flop Angel Di Maria ‘hates’ his former club so much that he cannot bear to even watch them on television It’s safe to say that there is no love lost between Angel Di Maria and Manchester United following his ill-fated spell in the Premier League.
The Argentina winger joined Louis van Gaal’s side from Real Madrid for a fee of £59.7m in 2014 but made only 32 appearances for the club before leaving for PSG for a loss of over £15m. Although the 32-year-old has now enjoyed five successful seasons with The Parisians, it’s seems as if his dislike for the Red Devils still runs deep.
Di Maria’s PSG teammate and Poland youth international Marcin Bulka has recently mentioned something his colleague does when he sees his former club on television, which will anger his former supporters. “Di Maria hates Manchester United,” Bulka told according to Manchester Evening News. “He has no good memory of the time he spent there. In fact, when something related to Manchester United appears on television, he changes it soon.”
Marcin Bulka (PSG goalkeeper): “Di María hated his time at Manchester United. He doesn’t have good memories from the club. Whenever they’re on TV, he changes the channel.”
