Anthony Martial To Extend Manchester United Stay

Anthony Martial is on the verge of inking a long term Manchester United contract, according to sources.

Martial’s future has been the subject of speculation as talks over a new deal has stalled a number of times. The forward was on the verge of moving out of the club in summer but agreed to stay on.

The Red Devils already took their option to extend the player’s contract till 2020 but it seems the 23 year old is ready to extend his association with the club. If reports are to be believed a five year deal is in the offing and some last minute details of the contract are being finetuned.

Having fallen out of favour under former manager Jose Mourinho the French international lost his confidence and were looking for a move elsewhere. But the youngster looks settled as he has been starting games for United under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Martial’s contribution cannot be ignored in United’s recent revival and the forward has taken a step up in the new revolution. Martial’s extension will also set the stage for David De Gea’s new contract who is yet to put pen to paper to a new deal.
