Bruno Fernandes has recently been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.

The club captain has recently been the subject of speculation of a shock transfer to Saudi Arabia next summer.

The Portuguese midfielder replaced Harry Maguire as the club captain this summer after the England international was stripped of his duties.

With the January transfer window approaching, a number of United players have been linked with a move to the Middle East.

Pundit Fabrizio Romano reported that Fernandes has rejected two bids from the Saudi Pro League clubs.

Fernandes is unhappy with how things have started at United this season but the midfielder has no desire to depart in the near future.

The 28-year-old has had a poor start to the campaign by his standards registering only four goals and three assists in 17 games in all competitions.

Fernandes told Sport TV Portugal: “I’m focusing on the national team and United. I’m happy where I am.

“In the national team, we had some very good times, at Manchester United we didn’t start the way we wanted.

“I don’t look at rumours. I don’t pay attention to them. Today, it’s very easy to spread rumours in the press. I prefer to concentrate on my goals.”
