David Moyes believes Erik ten Hag deserves credit for what he has achieved at Man United.

The Red Devils will be welcoming former boss David Moyes and the Hammers for a weekend tie at Old Trafford.

Man United secured a vital 4-3 win at Molineux against Wolves and it marked United’s first league triumph of 2024.

The likes of Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw and Casemiro all started in the game for the first time since recovering from respective injury problems.

Now they will face David Moyes’ West Ham United who thrashed his former club 2-0 just before Christmas.

Moyes claims Erik Ten Hag should be acknowledged for implementing a style of play he wants to see.

Moyes said: “We played very well against Manchester United when we played them at London Stadium. We’re now going to Old Trafford, which has always been a notoriously hard place to get results. We’ll go there and try to put on a good performance.

“Erik Ten Hag is in a privileged position to be manager of Manchester United. I think he understands and respects that.

“I think he is trying to enforce how he wants the team to play and work, and you have to give him credit for that. When you’re in that job, you are under a lot of pressure. He understands that.”
