Erik ten Hag doesn't regret signing Hojlund over Harry Kane

Erik ten Hag insists Hojlund is a ‘big talent’ and has a great future ahead.

The Danish international made a £72m move from Atalanta to Old Trafford this summer and had a decent start to the new campaign.

Harry Kane was close to signing for the Red Devils but he joined German giants Bayern Munich for €100 million.

Hojlund has arrived at the club with a back injury but is now back to full fitness whereas Kane has registered four goals in four Bundesliga appearances.

The young forward is expected to lead the line against Bayern Munich tonight at the Allianz Arena.

The odds are heavily stacked against United after their disastrous start in the Premier League campaign.

‘I don’t think we have to repeat this debate,’ Ten Hag replied.

‘We are happy with Rasmus, obviously first game he was injured.

‘He played against Arsenal, he’s now had a start, now we have to integrate him in the team. But you can see he’s a big talent and he will contribute to our game. We’re quite confident of that.’
