Fabrizio Romano unveils exclusive update Antony’s future

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer specialist, has revealed an exclusive update with GIVEMESPORT regarding Manchester United winger Antony. Despite the Brazilian’s hard start at Old Trafford, Romano revealed that the club is aware of the challenges that Antony faces in adjusting to the Premier League and life in a new nation.

The 23-year-old has been struggling to justify his £86 million transfer fee from Ajax, battling inconsistency and off-field troubles. Antony’s debut season with the Red Devils was further complicated further by a police investigation and a leave of absence in September.

Despite media speculation, Romano dismissed speculations of Antony being loaned out to Flamengo, claiming that Manchester United is patient and knows the time required for the young talent to realize his full potential.

Fabrizio Romano shares big update on Manchester United star Antony’s future:

“They know that it’s going to take time. The season is still long and it’s just two or three months into the season. So it will take some time. Obviously for Antony the situation was complicated this summer but now he’s returning to a normal situation.

So that’s why I think for Antony it is going to take some time, but I’m told that they are not expecting him to go on loan to Flamengo or any of the solutions that we saw in the media and the same for the other players you mentioned (Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat).”

The club is allegedly not looking at loan options, putting an end to reports tying Antony to a part-exchange deal with Flamengo striker Gabriel Barbosa.

Despite criticism and worries over Antony’s performances, Romano suggests that Manchester United remains committed to supporting the winger’s development in the hope that he would one day fulfill the promise he demonstrated at Ajax.

The Italian journalist also mentioned comparable circumstances involving other players such as Mason Mount and Sofyan Amrabat, claiming that patience is essential for their advancement at Old Trafford.
