Man United are reportedly in talks to sign Radu Dragusin this January.
The Red Devils will be in the market for 2-3 central defenders this January and have identified Radu Dragusin as one of their top targets.
The Romanian is one of the best young defenders in Europe and came through the Juventus academy before making his move to Genoa on a permanent deal this summer.
Genoa would want €30m for the defender who has been linked with several Premier League clubs in the last few weeks.
Dragusin’s contract with Genoa expires in the summer of 2027 which means the Italian club won’t be under any pressure to let him go in the January transfer window.
His agent Florin Manea confirmed that Man United has shown an interest in the young Serie A defender.
“Manchester United is always Manchester United,” Manea said, as per the Manchester Evening News.
“It’s a top team as a tradition, as everything. He’s [Dragusin] on several lists, I’m not surprised he would also be on Manchester United’s list. I haven’t spoken to anyone from there yet, but there are several teams interested.”
Signing a quality defender or two would be Erik Ten Hag’s top priority this January.
