Giuseppe Rossi has offered an insight into the Manchester United dressing room as he reveals ho Marcus Rashford has gone onto earn the respect of Manchester United players.
The 21 year old has revived his fortunes since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over the charge at the Old Trafford. The interim manager has preferred Rashford over Romelu Lukaku in the central striker role and the United academy product has repaid his faith as he has found the net pretty consistently in the last few games.
Rashford flourished since given the go ahead and has netted seven goals in 11 appearances, a remarkable turnaround. His excellent form has also helped the Red Devils as they have registered eight straight victories in the Premier League and are just three points adrift of the top four.
Since leaving Genoa Rossi has been training with his former club in a bid to maintain his sharpness as he is trying to attract interests from other clubs.
Rossi said, “He’s been tremendous and very important to the group just like (Romelu) Lukaku, (Anthony) Martial and (Jesse) Lingard are,
“When you’re a young player you always want to be better, be the man of a situation and that’s what he’s striving for.
“That’s what I see him doing in training. He has a lot of respect from the guys and I think they trust him.
“That’s very important for a young player. He’s earning every single headline and goal.”
