Guiseppe Rossi Insists Manchester United Have The Best Atmosphere

Former Manchester United forward Guiseppe Rossi is relishing every moment since coming back to Manchester.

Rossi has returned to his old club in a bid to keep himself sharp and match fit. The 31 year old was released by Genoa and following an invitation from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the Italian international has been training with the first team for the past few days.

Rossi came through the United academy but his persistent injury problems had become a big barrier as he failed to live up to the expectation despite having the potential.

After a couple of loan spells at Newcastle United and Parma, the player finally left the club in 2007 for Villarreal. Rossi insists the atmosphere hasn’t changed a bit since his departure. “This just shows you how much of a family Manchester United is.

“They have always taken care of their players.

“It’s a real privilege to have this opportunity and be given this opportunity. It feels really good.

“When I heard about this opportunity it just brought so much joy.

“It’s great to be playing with these exceptional players that I’ve been training with. It’s helping me stay fit and stay sharp because if you’re not sharp they’ll definitely be on you.

“I make sure that I’m doing the best I can to better myself but also to help the team do the right things in training.”
