Leicester City Target Draws Shock Link To Manchester United

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Youri Tielemans on loan this January ever since Leonardo Jardim returned to his coaching post at AS Monaco.

The 21-year-old midfielder did not get to enjoy a lot of minutes on the pitch under the Portuguese boss and this has alerted the Red Devils camp.

Reports are already circulating around Leicester City’s immediate desire to sign Tielemans but United can swoop in at the final moments of the January transfer window. The Red Devils have been linked with quite a few star players this season but not a single deal has been done under the Ole Solskjaer management.

The new interim boss, who has led the side to a perfect record of 8 wins since taking over has stated that he is happy with the players that his predecessor, Jose Mourinho has left him.

Solskjaer’s introduction has seen majority of the United players burst into life. Maybe adding one more piece could further their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season.

Tielemans is a quality young player who has already been capped 14 times for the Belgian national side. However, with Paul Pogba firing on all cylinders and Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic, Fred, Marouane Fellaini and Andres Pereira also in the club ranks, United might not need another midfield piece.

Belgian news outlet, Nieusblad understands that Jardim’s return to the Stade Louis II could see Tielemans make an exit from the Ligue 1 outfit soon. It remains to be seen whether it will be Leicester or Manchester United.
