Man United keen on 23-year-old Odilon Kossounou this January.

The Red Devils are in the market for a few defensive reinforcements this winter and has been linked with several defenders so far.

Man United have one of the worst defensive records in the Premier League this season, so United are considering a complete overhaul of their defence by this summer.

Bayern Leverkusen defender Odilon Kossounou has been one of the finest defenders in the Bundesliga this season and his performances have attracted the attention of elite clubs, including Manchester United.

The 23-year-old defender has shown his quality in the Bundesliga and would comfortably prosper in the Premier League.

The Ivorian defender has the physicality to thrive in the Premier League and could be a key player for Manchester United in the long-term.

Kossounou is also capable of playing at both centre-back and right-back, he could prove to be a useful option for Erik ten Hag during rotation and injuries.

A move in January seems unlikely for the 23-year-old as Leverkusen would want to hold onto their best players as they aim to win the league title.

The Red Devils have the financial power to build a formidable squad capable of winning trophies in the coming months.
