Amad Diallo not expected to leave Old Trafford in January

Amad Diallo wants to fight for his place under Erik ten Hag.

The sensational winger has been linked with a loan move this January as he struggled for minutes at Old Trafford this campaign.

Diallo has reportedly attracted loan interest from Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich and Sunderland.

He spent the last season on loan at Sunderland scoring 14 goals and helping them reach the play-off position.

His contract with the Red Devils expires in the summer of 2025 and a permanent exit won’t be sanctioned anytime soon.

The Ivorian winger has the ability to establish himself in the Premier League but he needs to play regularly to continue with his development.

A loan move would definitely be beneficial for the 21-year-old if Man United cannot provide him enough first-team opportunities this season.

Middlesbrough and Leicester City are the latest clubs to table a loan bid for the young winger but Diallo wants to fight for his place at Man United.

With the recent departure of Jadon Sancho to his former club Borussia Dortmund, Diallo would be hoping to make a significant impact for the remainder of the season.

If the winger manages to impress, the decision would be an unfathomable triumph for the Red Devils.
