Manchester United has made contact with Bayern teenager Mathys Tel.
The Red Devils have made an enquiry for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel over the potential of signing him in the summer window.
The French forward has been drawn comparison to the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema in the past.
Tel has featured 27 times in all competitions for the Bavarians this season, registering six goals and three assists in the process.
But the 18-year-old has struggled to nail down a starting role, as only four of those appearances have been starts.
Signing a new forward this summer is top on Erik Ten Hag’s wishlist as Rasmus Hojlund is the only striker option in the squad.
Anthony Martial is expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of this campaign.
According to Sky Sports, Man United have made an enquiry about Mathys Tel and has already begun talks with Bayern Munich.
Tel joined the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2022 from Rennes for a fee in the region of £25m.
The young forward has scarcely been allowed to showcase his potential, with the likes of Harry Kane, Leroy Sane, and Jama Musiala all ahead in the pecking order.
Tel is willing to cut ties with the German champions even though he aspires to become a legend at the Allianz Arena in years to come.
