Jan Oblak’s contract will expire in the summer of 2028.

Man United are in the mood to get the signature of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak. The Red Devils are reportedly lining up a €45m (£38.5m) bid.

Manchester United are planning to replace Andre Onana with the new goalkeeper. The club signed Onana from Inter Milan last summer as David de Gea left the club after not getting a new contract.

The Cameroon international conceded 47 times in 30 appearances and kept only nine clean sheets in the process. He has a contract with Man United until June 2028.

Altay Bayindir also arrived from Fenerbahce last summer but Erik ten Hag doesn’t consider him as an option of the backup goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Man United are keen to get the signature of Oblak. Erik ten Hag is a big admirer of the Slovenia international. As per the reports of TodoFichajes, Atletico would be willing to let him leave during this summer’s transfer window.

Man United are lining up a €45m (£38.5m) bid for the Atletico goalkeeper. The 31-year-old made the move to Atletico from Benfica in the summer of 2014.

Oblak has made 422 appearances for the La Liga giants across all competitions. He kept 10 clean sheets in the process. His contract will expire in the summer of 2028.
