Manchester United keen on signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee.

The Red Devils are considering a January move for 22-year-old Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee to address their attacking problems.

The former Bayern Munich forward joined Bologna in the summer of 2022 after a successful spell with Anderlecht during the 2021-22 campaign.

Zirkzee has been in excellent form for the Italian club scoring eight goals and registering four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.

The Dutch forward has a €30 million release clause which will make him a low-cost option in the current market.

His contract with the Red and Blues expires in June 2026 and Zirkzee would be tempted to play for a big club like Manchester United.

According to reports, Erik ten Hag is a huge admirer of the Dutchman and could make a move for him when the January window commences next week.

Summer signing Rasmus Hojlund has struggled to find the back of the net in the Premier League and managed only one goal in his last 15 games.

The Red Devils remain short of options in the attacking third with Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho expected to leave Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
