Manchester-United-have-made-inquiries-about-Alisson

The Brazilian is also a target for Real Madrid and Liverpool

David De Gea joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid for a record fee of  approximately £18.9 million in the summer of 2011. He was signed by the club to replace Van der Sar.

The Spain International has been been the mainstay for the Premier League giants despite struggling at the first and has established himself probably the best goalkeeper in the world over the past seven seasons with the club.

The 27 year old has attracted heavy interest from Real Madrid in the past few transfer windows and was close to joining them in 2015 but a deal never went through. They are still interested in him ahead of the transfer window as they looking to replace Keylor Navas.

Red Devils have always maintained that De Gea is not for sale but are wary of Real’s continuous interest in the goalkeeper and already preparing themselves if they lose their star this summer.

Manchester United have made enquiries about Roma Goalkeeper Alisson Becker according to Mirror.

Alisson has very impressive for the Serie A giants this season, helping his team to reach the Semi-finals of the Champions League this season. He is regarded as one of the finest goalkeepers in the world and has attracted interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Liverpool are particularly keen but are believed to have been put off by Roma’s €100 million valuation and now facing competition from their Premier League rivals.

United will move for the Brazilian only if De Gea leaves them this summer. But Roma president James Pallotta insisted that they are not under pressure to sell the player.

“I am not going to sell him,” he told Sky.

“Liverpool want to sign him and we are on very good terms with him.

“I am sure we will receive some huge offers this summer.

“We don’t want to sell him but the decision must also be taken by Monchi and the manager. We want to build the future of Roma around him.”
