Paul Parker has said that Manchester United should not fire Ole.

He told talkSPORT: “I just think it doesn’t make sense for Manchester United to sack a manager, whether you want to call it a sacking or leaving by mutual consent. I don’t think they can at the moment because they’ve got enough issues going on.

“I think they are in such a bad place at the moment it would throw more mud at the club if they were to get rid of Ole.

“If they could come out and say ‘we are getting rid of him and we are going to have a clean slate with someone fresh’, in other words Ed Woodward is going to move away from his position and someone else is going to take that position and the club is going to be run as what it should be, a football club, I would say yes.

“Whoever is going to come in next is going to have the same barriers in front of them.”

“There’s not enough men now, who I would come out and say, who have got anything about them to believe they can make something happen.

“I keep reading all the time about bringing through these young players, I think to myself, if you were a parent and your son was with Manchester United you would not want him to go on that pitch to make his debut with that team there in this moment in time.

“There are too many selfish players out there who are more concerned about their own issues than be concerned about looking after a young player out there who is looking to make his name in the game.

“It’s the wrong time to be using these wrong players.”

Paul Pogba Has Made Up His Mind To Leave Manchester United

Paul Pogba Has Made Up His Mind To Leave Manchester United

Paul Pogba wants out of Manchester United – it is no longer a secret and apparently, it has been made even more evident now.

According to the Sun, the Frenchman could push for a transfer this January and will in no way, sign an extension beyond June 2021.

United have an option to keep him for one more season but it is unlikely the player will agree to the clause. His agent, Mino Raiola has already revealed how badly he wants to leave Old Trafford.

Pogba believes the Red Devils are going in reverse and refuses to become the scapegoat for their recent downfall. The midfielder is one of the most celebrated figures in world football but it is his status which also attracts a lot of criticism.

At 26, he wishes to find success elsewhere and this might be the “come and get me” plea for all European powerhouses. United values him at around £180m, according to Daily Mail – both, Juventus and Real Madrid have refused to meet that asking price.

Pogba seems to be the only creative hub of the United midfield and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer simply cannot afford to lose him without signing a replacement first. United might be forced into lowering their demands if there is much resistance from the Frenchman. Of course, no one wants another Neymar-PSG saga at Old Trafford.

The English side are keeping tabs on one of their top transfer targets.

Manchester United sent scouts to watch Brescia’s teenage star play against Juventus in Serie A on Monday night.

Sandro Tonali is extremely highly thought of in Italy and has drawn comparisons with the legendary Andrea Pirlo due to his style of play as well as for starting his career at Brescia. The 19-year-old deep-lying midfielder, came up through the youth ranks of Brescia, before breaking into the club’s first-team setup during the 2017-18 season, at the tender age of 17.

He made 34 appearances last season in Serie B as his performances helped Brescia gain promotion to the top flight. He has since started this season well, featuring in all five of the club’s opening league games and notching an assist against Bologna.

According to reports in Italy, Tonali’s performances for the newly-promoted side have already attracted the attention of Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.

However, it is Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claiming United sent scouts to watch the youngster on Tuesday night, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to add more creativity into the midfield, plotting a £35m move for the midfielder in January.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to regenerate United’s side with further youthful additions in future transfer windows and Tonali would certainly fit the bill. The Red Devils embarked on a youth-driven approach in the transfer market during the summer with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James, both 21, joining the club.

Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has given a glimpse about the club’s transfer plans for the upcoming windows.

The Red Devils signed three players for a combined total of £145m this summer. However, they have endured a slow start to their campaign, winning only two of their opening six games.

This week, Manchester United announced club-record revenue of £627.1m for the year ending 30 June 2019, up 6.3 per cent from 12 months ago.

And, Woodward has said that the club will invest a part of it in improving the squad quality and depth.

“Returning to the roots of our club’s ethos of youth-led, attacking football is the right way forward and everyone at the club: the board, the manager, the squad and all of the staff remain resolute in our desire to get Manchester United back to the top of English football.”

“We’ll continue to make the necessary investments to make this happen across our first-team players, our academy and our recruitment department.”

“This long-term approach to building a squad is the right one.”

Manchester United are currently gearing up to face Arsenal in their next Premier League fixture.

Solskjaer urges United players to be more ruthless

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has urged his players to be more clinical and ruthless in the upcoming games. The United boss presided over his fourth win in all competitions this season, as the Red Devils beat Rochdale in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 scoreline.

However, a lack of quality and cutting edge saw United being held by Rochdale, something that didn’t go down well with the fans in soite of their win.

“We go 1-0 up in many games,” the United boss said.

“‘Today it’s again go 1-0 up and you think ‘go on then, get the second’ which is the key now and that is learning curve for these boys as well.”

“We need to go for a second. At this club you don’t just sit back and hope that’s enough good. If you settle for good enough, that’s not what we want.”

Mason Greenwood was one of the positives as the 17-year-old scored twice in the fixture.

“He has two great feet and (took the) penalty with his right, so he must be a nightmare for defenders having him one on one in the box,” Solskjaer said.

“He can go both ways, which is for me fantastic and you can just see he has got quality and he will get his share of games.”

“But he is young, we’ll allow him to grow slowly but surely.”

Following his emphatic performance, Solskjaer didn’t rule out the possibility of including him in the starting lineup against Chelsea.

“f you want to win it, you have to beat the best,” the manager said.

“We play them first game of the season this year. We played them in the FA Cup last year and it slots into a couple of weeks with loads of travelling.”

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said Manchester United don’t have the requisite amount of talents in their squad to challenge for all titles. Wenger: United four players away from challenging for everything.

Manchester United made three major signings in the summer, with 21-year-olds Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James arriving alongside Harry Maguire, who joined for a world-record fee for a defender.

Despite the signings, a number of departures at Old Trafford has left Solskjaer’s squad looking thin in some areas. Wenger: United four players away from challenging for everything.

From his punditry tonight:

RB: Is Manchester United is a poison job? The squad they have is not ready, not good enough, but the expectations are so high. Nobody can do it.

AW: No. Manchester United is a dream job for any manager. At least, any manager with courage and confidence. Yes, they need – in my opinion – 4 first team players. But around those players, I see a squad that is capable of challenging. They aren’t as far away as people think.

RB: They won on penalties against a tadpole!

AW: The team have no pattern of play, no pattern of pressing. There is a team there, but it needs to be coached and developed. Like I said, 4 players and they can be challengers. For everything.

RB: You know the 4?

AW: I cannot name them. It would be headlines everywhere. I know them. They lack creativity, flair, players that can expose the defence consistently through dribbling ability and speed. Now it is too horizontal. Side to side. Backwards. Nobody to beat a defender and force chaos, force a one-on-one. They need an overlapping full-back. They need a destroyer. 4 players.

RB: You said a coach needs courage and confidence to do the job. Is that you? You seem to have the ideas. (laughing)

AW: Like I said, Manchester United is a dream job. For any coach. I have confidence, I have courage…and you’re right, I have ideas.

RB Salzburg striker has hailed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as an impactful figure in his life.

19-year-old Striker has been continuously scouted by United and the rumor is slowly picking up pace.

The young striker announced himself to the world with a UEFA Champions League debut hattrick last week.

Fenerbahce to return for Manchester United misfit Marcos Rojo in January

The Argentine is nowhere in Manchester United’s plans.

Fenerbahce are reportedly ready to renew their interest in Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo at the beginning of 2020.

The 29-year-old has been limited to just one appearance so far this season for Manchester United, and that came in the Europa League clash with Astana last week as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rotated his squad.

Having struggled with injuries and competition for places at United last season, the addition of Harry Maguire ensured that Marcos Rojo didn’t move up the pecking order over the summer even after the exit of Chris Smalling.

Solskjaer has faced an injury crisis over the past fortnight or so, and yet he hasn’t turned to Rojo as a regular solution even in the defeat to West Ham on Sunday.

Despite being heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford over the summer, the Argentine remained with the Premier League giants. Without minutes, Marcos Rojo’s exit from Manchester United seems the most likely option for the January transfer window.

According to Fotospor, Fenerbahce‘s interest in Rojo isn’t dead and the Super Lig side will make another attempt to sign the 29-year-old, potentially on a loan deal.

With Rojo having just under two years left on his contract, United may insist on including an option to buy in order to give the green light to his exit.

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson doesn’t want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to rush Mason Greenwood into the starting lineup. The 17-year-old academy graduate now stands a high chance of making the starting lineup after Marcus Rashford picked up an injury against West Ham.

However, the former Arsenal star wants the United boss to delicately ease him into the team rather than hurrying with him.

“I hope – I know this won’t sound right – the young kid doesn’t get a chance, Greenwood,” Merson said.

“I think he’s a good player, I think he’s going to be special. You don’t want to be putting a young kid into a bad team.”

“When you’re a centre forward, you’re only as good as the service you get. If you ain’t getting the service, you ain’t scoring the goals I don’t care who you are.”

“Not just his confidence, everything. The pressure is going to be on him. The fan’s are going to be saying, “Oh Greenwood’s in”, Solskjaer’s already said he’s one of the best finishers he’s seen.”

“You watch Manchester United, there’s not a plan. You watch other teams play, there’s a plan. Manchester United just seem to fall over it.”

“I just hope the kid don’t get in when the team are playing poorly because I think this lad is going to be special.”

Gary Neville is optimistic ahead of weekend’s entertaining Manchester United Vs Arsenal clash.

Arsenal are joint third on basis of points (with 11 points, same as Leicester City) and they have lost just once in opening 6 matches.  Manchester United, on the other hand, are currently at 8th position in the League table with 8 points and saw an upsetting 0-2 loss to West Ham this past weekend. But Gary Neville is still confident about Manchester United.

For some reason, Gary Neville believes that Manchester United will be alright since the game is at home.

Neville said on his self-titled podcast, “Arsenal next? I don’t have a problem with that game,”

“That game, for some reason, doesn’t worry me.

“Don’t get me wrong, Arsenal could come to Manchester United and do something. But I just always think: ‘Night game, Old Trafford.’”

There are some good news for Manchester United faithful; Paul Pogba and Martial will return from injury Vs Arsenal.

Neville believes that Manchester United will fare well against Arsenal since the atmosphere is different in these matches.

“Pogba will probably return, Martial will be back or other players will be back,” he added.

“And I think it’s the right type of fixture for this squad, where they can electrify the crowd and get them going.

“It’s the West Ham away, the Wolves away, the games of that ilk [you worry about].”

However, Manchester United will be without Marcus Rashford.
