Marcel Sabitzer has joined on loan until the end of the season.

The Austrian midfielder has enjoyed a successful spell in his first weeks at Old Trafford.

The 28-year-old midfielder played a bit-part role at Bayern Munich and joined the Red Devils on loan in the January transfer window.

He has a contract until the summer of 2025 with the Bundesliga champions.

He has started all of United’s last three Premier League matches and the club is considering signing him on a permanent deal.

The Bavarians are also considering a permanent departure and would want to recoup atleast €15million they paid RB Leipzig to sign him.

Sabitzer’s agent told Sport1: “He loves the Premier League. At Man United, we see Marcel from RB Leipzig again.

“I am very happy for him. What’s next in summer? We’ll see when the time comes.”

“He loves this English hardness.” Wittman added. “It was clear from the start that the Premier League was a great fit for him.

“He is an aggressive player. He does exactly what he can there. And that’s what’s needed there.”
