Jose Mourinho has been at work for the last 15 years. In his work spell, he has been sacked on multiple occasions but the Portuguese tactician has never been out of work for a long time.
He has traveled from Portugal, where he won league titles and European cups to England, twice. In England he has managed two clubs in three stints. With Chelsea he won three titles, with Manchester United he won the Europa League. He went to Italy in the middle where he won the Serie A and his second European trophy. He then moved to Spain to take on the giants of Real Madrid and ended Pep Guardiola’s dominance at the Catalan club.
It now seems he has found himself a new job; a chance to work as a pundit; the very people who he never regarded as serious footballers. He will reportedly earn close to 70,000 euros per game for his expert opinion but there is a funny clause inserted.
He will be not allowed to speak about his sacking from Manchester United; the club where he has a 17 million pound severance package due to his untimely contract termination. United it would seem have “gagged” Jose from speaking about the club or risk losing his severance pay.
