The Chilean attacker is due to stay at the San Siro till June 2020. No details have been released over his permanent switch next summer but it is more than likely.
His mammoth wages was turning out to be major hindrance at Old Trafford. United were fed up by his unimpactful performances, especially after him banking such a large sum of money every week.
Sanchez underwent a torrid 18 months with the Red Devils after his infamous switch from Arsenal. Jose Mourinho could not get the best out of him and neither could Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It was time for a change and United are more than happy to send him on his way. Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James have started for the Red Devils this season.
The trio has begun the campaign in hot form, all of them getting on the scoresheet of the very first Premier League game against Chelsea. Sanchez’s exit does leave United a bit too thin in the attacking department but something tells me, the large influx of youth players from the Academy (Tahith Chong and Mason Greenwood), will be able to fill that gap.
