Ole happy with pre-season for United

Manchester United are in serious need for a makeover for the new season.

The Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over in December last season and had no time to get a pre season or a decent transfer window in January last season.

However, both things have been sorted out this season as a strong new pre season and new players coming in has sorted things much better for Ole.

“I think it’s important that we, as I’ve said before, start well, because you give yourself a chance then if you have a good start. But then again, it feels like a little bit of a new start,” Solskjaer said ahead of their pre-season friendly against Spurs in Shanghai.

“We want to find a style that we want to play, on the front foot, so it has to start sometime and it’s easier in pre-season than in the middle of a season.

“Of course, we spoke about this over the last six months as well and now we’re laying the foundations both mentally and physically. The tour has been very good as a team-building one as well.”

United begin their new season at home to Chelsea.
