Paul Pogba sent warning over Man United comments

Paul Pogba has endured a tough start to the 2020/21 campaign.

The French midfielder lost his place at the United squad to the more defensive duo Scott McTominay and Fred.

His recent comment over the weekend that France national team feels more like family than the club has not got down well with some Man United fans.

Pogba has 18 months left on his contract and his form recently has been very questionable.

Speaking to RTL, Pogba said of his current situation: ‘I had never known such a difficult period in my career.

‘The France team is a breath of fresh air, the group is exceptional, it’s magic. It’s not that in the club we don’t have fun, but here it’s not the same. We laugh. It’s really a family.’

In response to Pogba’s comments, Frank Leboeuf believes that his comments would be definitely misinterpreted.

‘You have to be always cautious of what you say,’ Leboeuf told ESPN.

‘It’s true that this is not going to be very well interpreted with Manchester United.

‘It’s meaning that he is belonging to a group with friends which is not the case with Manchester United.’
