Brendan Rodgers dismisses Manchester United links

Rodgers is linked with Manchester United along with Erik ten Hag and Antonio Conte.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has dismissed all the rumours which state that he is linked with struggling Manchester United.

The Premier League giants occupy the seventh spot in the Premier League and they were hammered by Liverpool in home-game 5-0 last Sunday. It’s huge pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of the Tottenham clash and this match will decide his future at Old Trafford.

Leicester boss Rodgers is linked with Manchester United along with Erik ten Hag and Antonio Conte as the potential replacement for the Norweigan, according to the reports but the Northern Irish denied all reports.

Leicester manager said to The Mirror: “I don’t even think about it – and that’s the brutal honesty. I’m sure the supporters are probably tired of it. At Leicester, there is always a link.

“My focus is always here with Leicester and developing the football club on to that next level, where you’re competing for European football and challenging for honours.”

Foxes also beat Man United when they recorded a 4-2 victory in October. Rodgers’ men currently sit ninth in the Premier League table.
