Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Provides Fitness Update Ahead Of Wolves Clash

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided a fitness update ahead of Manchester United’s clash against Wolves.

Solskjaer had a winning start to his new United career following his appointment as the successor of Jose Mourinho. United are now due to face Wolves at the Molineux on Tuesday and would be adamant to avenge their loss in the FA Cup quarterfinal.

A number of players are still carrying injuries but the manager has confirmed he will have the service of both Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku on Tuesday. Lukaku wasn’t used by the gaffer in the 2-1 win over Watford while Martial netted the second goal of the match but had to be substituted after getting a minor knock.

Solskjaer said, “Anthony will be fine, he’s going to be OK.

“Anthony and Romelu will both be ready for tomorrow, definitely, unless they break down in training today but it looks good, yes.”

“Victor has had a good few days of training now so he’ll be ready.

“Apart from that, [Matteo] Darmian and Eric [Bailly] are still out. [Antonio] Valencia is still out and Alexis Sanchez is still out. But it’s a good strong squad.”
