Ole Solskjaer To Be Handed A £200m Transfer Kitty By Manchester United

According to the latest reports, Manchester United are ready to hand Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a £200m treasure chest for player additions this summer.

A common poll amongst the Red Devils fanbase would mark out top-pedigree names who are expected to cost record sums. The likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Harry Maguire, Declan Rice or even Douglas Costa cannot be acquired without shelling out eye-catching amounts.

United are currently sixth in the Premier League with the race for the top-four spots heating up even more after Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Everton last night. Their chances of making it into the Champions League are low but achievable.

Nevertheless, barring this season Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have the pressure of returning the Old Trafford-based outfit to the very top of the English top-flight. He will require prime footballing talent to do so.

The defence clearly needs some work along with finding replacements for Ander Herrera and Juan Mata. United are also on the lookout for an additional quality winger after Alexis Sanchez proved to be a worthless investment over the 2018/19 campaign.

One of Solskjaer’s top targets, Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane is expected to cost around £68m or higher. Napoli was earlier reported to have set an asking price of £100m for Koulibaly.
