Harry Maguire Will Be A Huge Miss For Manchester United In EL Final

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer voiced concern over Harry Maguire’s absence for the Europa League final.

The Manchester United skipper picked up an ankle injury in a Premier League tie against Aston Villa.

He is unlikely to recover in time for United’s visit to Gadansk. Solskjaer admitted that it will be difficult to cope without Maguire in the side. He said, “Oh, it’s a blow, definitely, when your captain, your ever-present captain, your leader is out.

“Harry defends ours and he creates chances for us [in theirs]. He hasn’t scored enough goals yet but he’s always a threat. So that’s a big blow [if he’s out]. And he’s a vocal leader, he organises everyone. But he’s still in and around the dressing room, he’s doing everything he can to help the players.”

Manchester United are set to face Villarreal right after playing their final Premier League game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
